After the recent news released that Rain had signed a contract with a US company, he had been making lots of appearances in Korea lately. He was in Beijing for one of Korea electronics company's (Samsung Electronics) press conference, announcing that Rain would be the Ambassador for its Olympic image. Rain was amazed that there were so many lavatories in Beijing. He also said that his visit to Beijing is different this time , probably becos of the coming Olympics. He has a whole new impression of Beijing.

Rain : Hello everyone, I am Rain. Maybe it is becos of the coming Olympics, Beijing has changed vastly. It has become a more magnificient city. I am truly amazed and many new happenings can be seen.

Another Olympics Ambassador for its Olympic image was the Olympic gold medalist, Liu Xuan, who was also invited on stage. Coincidentally, Rain had always been her idol.

Liu: I have got to tell you this, i like you alot. I have seen your concerts and you are awesome in your singing & dancing performances. You are very cute in the dramas which I have watched.

Besides being the Ambassador for its products, Samsung Electronics had also come out with a Rain Phone. This would definitely caused a frantic purchase among Rain's fans. The event also held a hand print ceremory to celebrate the 'birth' of Rain Phone.

Rain : This phone is named after me, Rain Phone. There are lots of other great models, too, hope everyone will like them. I will also be promoting the Olympics' spirits from now on. There will be lots of events from me & the sponsor in August and great music videos will be made, too. Please wait patiently.

Rain's healthy image and his tiredless hardworking spirit definitely matched well with the Olympics' image. Rain wished that he could personally participate in this 4-years once Olympics, a world-wide event. He extended his warm wishes and supports to every athletes.

Maggie Cheung is recently invited by a Swiss brand watches & gems, to be their global image ambassador. They even invited the top photographer, Patrick Demarchelier to shoot the photos for Maggie Cheung. It showed that Maggie Cheung is still influential although she seldom appears in front of the public nor starring in new films. It is said that this CF will be screened in Beijing on Mar 26.
