‘K-pop Fairies' ( or rather K-pop Angels ), Fin.K.L., show their unchanged friendship. In the afternoon of March 3rd, Fin.K.L. members gathered in a restaurant at the Seoul Jiangnan area (강남의) where they held a birthday party for Sung Yuri.

Except for the eldest sister, Lee Hyori, who is in Las Vegas for her poster shooting, Ock Ju Hyun and Lee Jin turned up for the celebration. When Hyori returns to Korea on the 5th, they will have another celebration again.

7 years after their solo developments, we have once again witnessed their deep friendship. Since April 2002, Fin.K.L. members have always tried their best to avoid activity clashing with other members.

Last year, Fin.K.L. reunited at Lee Hyori's solo concert, making all the fans frantic with joy. After 3 years of separation, Fin.K.L. members gathered again, dressed in white dresses and sang their popular songs, 'Forever' and 'Ruby.'

It is Sung Yuri's birthday on the 3rd and they all turned up for the party despite their busy schedules.

Sung Yuri is currently busy with the shooting of the movie, 'Rabbit and Lizard.' She is also the female lead for the drama, 'The Swallowed Sun.' Lee Jin was cast as the female lead for the movie, 'Even Thou Poor and Sick...Love Among The Prositutes' ( Direct translation from Chinese Titles ). Ock Ju Hyun was appointed as a professor of the Performance and Art Department of Dong Seoul University this month. She will be teaching two subjects, singing and musical, starting this semester.

Everyone was wishing for the reunion of Fin.K.L.

A representative from DSP Entertainment ( the company who started Fin.K.L. ) said, 'They are now with different companies. Their focus areas are also different. Getting them back together is not easy. On the company's ground, it is not important if Fin.K.L. members have the will about the reunion. Even though it was the 10th year of Fin.K.L.'s debut last year, there have been many discussions going on about the possibility of their reunion.'

Deep Friendships: Ock Ju Hyun & Lee Jin Celebrate Sung Yuri's Birthday

"Legendary Girls Group" Sung Yuri vs. Kim Yoo Jin at the Big Screen



Sung Yuri and Kim Yoo Jin (Eugene) from the 90's famous K-pop Girls Group, Fin.K.L and S.E.S., will challenge each other on the big screen in 2009.

Last year, Sung Yuri received positive feedback and lots of attention for her acting in the drama, 'Hong Gil Dong,' and this year she will debut in the big screen through the movie, 'Rabbit & Lizard' (working title).

Sung Yuri portrays an adopted child who has a straight forward and happy go lucky character with strong appeal but hides a deep wound on the inside. She is someone with mysterious charisma. Jang Hyuk portrays one who has a rare heart disease where his heart would stop at any moment. His character is a shy and boring taxi driver who at the same time is gentle and has a big heart. The film began shooting in February and is expected to launch in the summer at all cinemas.

At the same time, Kim Yoo Jin has been chosen for the the horror movie 'Yoga School'. The movie 'Yoga School' is the new production from the director of the movie, 'Voice Letter' (여고괴담3: 여우계단). The story is about one who is in pursuit for perfection ( or maybe translated as good future? ). In order to search for the mysterious unknown future, she studies in Yoga School. The film will start shooting in March and will be scheduled to air in the summer.

In comparison, Kim Yoo Jin has more experiences in movies. She was the lead role for the 3 movies 'Romantic Island', 'Heartbreak Library' and 'Unstoppable Marriage.' We have seen her good hilarious acting skills, while Sung Yuri has only appeared in the movies, 'Emergency 19' and 'How To Keep My Love' as a guest star (cameo roles ).

This same summer, we shall see how they each attracts audiences with their acting skills and gain more box office for their own movie.

Korean actor, Jo In Sung, and actress, Sung Yuri, are taking photographs for Aden's new season fashion catalog. The theme this time is 'My Space.' The shooting is undertaken by Korean top photographers, Kim and Han.

Aden's representative said 'Jo In Sung & Sung Yuri gives out that kind of freedom and warm hearted charisma and thanks to them, the shooting went smoothly and I believe shoppers will have deep impression on this advertisement.'

The representative also mentioned 'During the shooting, both of them are pleasant and enthusiastic towards the job, the results are great. They observe each others' pose when taking solo shots and gave suggestions. The cooperating spirit is there.'

Jo In Sung & Sung Yuri are not a couple in real life. However to advertiser Aden, they make a great couple. They both became the models for the urban fashion line. They have also won praises from the representative for their chemistry and good working attitude - very professional.

Jo In Sung will begin his compulsory military service on 6th of April. He will be joining the air force for 2 years, this will be his last catalog shooting for Aden before his enrollment to the army. The shooting takes place in a white room where both models presented natural and modern styles for the new theme 'My Space.'

Lastly, the film set for 'Rabbit & Lizard' has decided on as the male lead role. This will be Sung Yuri's first movie

Sung Yuri & Jo In Sung's Past

Yep, these two who just shot a clothing ad have revealed that they are elementary school schoolmates. They are the same age, both born in 1981 and coincidentally enough they went to the same elementary school, work in the same management company, and even did a shoot together.

On MBC's Section TV the two talked about their elementary school days and revealed that they were both popular among the opposite gender. Jo In Sung commented, "Yuri was well known even then for being extremely pretty. I wasn't popular. I was the captain of the baseball team so I always walked around in my dirty uniform." To which Sung Yuri replied "Jo In Sung was popular as the captain of the baseball team. He was popular among the girls because he looked so handsome in his uniform."

But despite being schoolmates and being under the same management company, they revealed that they weren't really close because they didn't have many opportunities to meet.

In the interview, they were asked what they wanted to do when they turned 30 to which they both replied that they wanted to get married with Sung Yuri adding she wanted to have a child by then.
