	Sung Yu Ri has proved her acting skills through Hong Gil Dong Little Pixie, Sung Yu Ri, secured her position as an actress with her acting skills, which was doubted by many previously. The last episode of KBS2 drama “Hong Gil Dong”was aired on 26th March. The lead actress of this drama, Sung Yu Ri, was commended for portraying the blur and innocent side of Heo Yi Nok. When this drama was first shown, viewers were complaining that Yuri’s acting skills was not natural enough. However, as the story progress, this group of viewers were attracted by Yu Ri instead. This has to be credited to Yu Ri, who disregard her personal image, and went ahead to shoot these scenes, such as munching a drumstick greedily and answering to nature’s call. Other scenes include: Yi Nok thought Gil Dong was dead and cried like a kid, vowed to take revenge after knowing her real identity. The viewers said “Her acting sends chills to the spine!”, “Her acting skills is getting more and more seasoned”. The Hong sisters, the scriptwriters of this drama, also praised Yu Ri for performing beyond their expectations. They were puzzled why her acting was in doubt initially. Sung Yu Ri, started off as a member of Fin.K.L. and took up her first project “Thousand years of love” in 2003. The subsequent projects include “Prince’s first Love”, “Snow Queen” and many other romantic dramas, which she was criticized for her acting skills. However, Sung Yu Ri cleared all the negative critics for the unique role she took up in “Hong Gil Dong”. “Timid and quiet roles are easy but not so appealing. I have always wanted to take up a role which is opposite of my image. I am also prepared to disregard my image” Coupled with good looks and acting skills, Sung Yu Ri has become a true actress through this project.
