My character is not a masculine female but one with a bubbly personality. As for her clothes, she just wears her grandfathers clothes. She's a free spirit so she may seem a little boyish but she's not very manly. In filming Hong Gil Dong, especially Heo Yi Nok's character, is something that not a lot of female actresses have shown. It's sort of like a character that is damaged and fun. Her voice and walking style may also seem boyish. The way she talks may be a little tough and manly, so I tried realy hard to portray that. She's a really fun character so I really enjoyed filming this. The whole cast of Hong Gil Dong all practiced action scenes together for a month but the director said that there would be no stunt men. I said to myself "I doubt it" and when we actually started filming, there really were no stunt men so we had to do all the stunts ourselves. I was shocked at first then the stunts got harder and I thought "Will I be able to do this?" But as we started filming, I noticed that there was a different feel to this drama unlike when filming a melodrama. Nowadays, I've been doing a lot of exercise, like sword practice and I've been doing a physical test for about a month. At first, it was really hard doing the action scenes but now it's fun and a new experience. Other action dramas have a lot of fighting scenes but ours is fun and you can watch for an hour and you'll want to watch it always. We hope that you will support our drama whole heartedly. Our drama Hong Gil Dong is something worth seeing. It will show our changes and our charismatic performances. Hong Gil Dong's many faces and the teacher's action scenes can be seen so please look forward to the premiere on January 2. Please support us. Hong Gil Dong Fighting!
